SearchShop AI ("we", "us", "our") operates the SearchShop AI commerce platform, including the API at searchshopai-mcp.fly.dev, the website at searchshop.ai, and integrations with third-party AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, and others).

What We Collect

• Search queries and product interactions — When you use our tools (search, recommend, compare, checkout), we log the query text, tool used, response time, and product results. This is used to improve recommendation quality.
• No personal information — We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or account credentials. We do not require sign-up or login.
• No cookies or tracking — Our API does not set cookies or use tracking pixels.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect or store any data from your AI platform account (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.)
• We do not collect payment or credit card information — all purchases happen directly on the merchant's Shopify store
• We do not collect browsing history outside of direct API interactions

How We Use Data

• Improve product search and recommendation quality
• Monitor API performance and errors
• Generate aggregate analytics for merchant partners (e.g., most-searched product categories)

Third-Party Services

• Shopify — When you click a checkout link, you are directed to a Shopify-hosted checkout page. Your purchase is governed by the merchant's and Shopify's privacy policies.
• Fly.io — Our API is hosted on Fly.io infrastructure. See Fly.io Privacy Policy.
• AI Platforms — When used through ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot, your interactions are also subject to those platforms' privacy policies.

Data Retention

API logs (search queries, tool calls) are retained for up to 90 days for quality improvement, then deleted. We do not maintain long-term profiles of individual users.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share individual user data with third parties. Aggregate, anonymized analytics may be shared with merchant partners to help them understand product demand.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request access to any data we hold related to your usage
• Request deletion of that data
• Opt out of analytics logging

To exercise these rights, email contact@searchshop.ai. Since we don't collect personal identifiers, most requests can be resolved by confirming we have no data to return.

International Users

Our servers are located in the United States (Fly.io, US-East). By using our service, your API queries are processed in the US. We do not transfer personal data internationally because we do not collect personal data.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
